Mulholland WTF
My god.
That movie was out of control. And it is even more disturbing now that I understand it.
David Lynch is a crack monkey, and I love Naomi Watts even more than I did before, but EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
*SIGH*
See it.
Oh yeah, and for a pretty good (but somewhat stupid-movie-critic-intellectualizing) explanation, try this: Everything You Were Afraid to Ask About 'Mulholland Drive'.

That is one fucked up movie. Of course, Casey liked it. :)

I'm not sure how I feel about explanations of Lynch's films. I've always liked the "Lynch is fucking insane" explanation. This is good though - from the Christian Science Monitor
in reference to Mulholland Drive:
"Lynch says it all makes sense - unlike his nightmarish 'Lost Highway,' which stumps even him". (http://www.csmonitor.com/2001/1221/p18s1-almo.html). I really liked Lost Highway. It was frightening and depressing and frantic.

I want to see Lost Highway too, and Blue Velvet. I used to love Twin Peaks. Damn f-d up show. He's fucking insane.
I do think they are right (re: MD) about the fantasy vs. reality piece of things... which is what makes it so desperately sad to me in the end.
Watching Azumi with Loody now. w00t!
